Wʜᴀᴛ ᴅᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ғɪɴᴅ ɪɴ ᴀ ɴᴀᴍᴇ?

Between 1957 and 1959, the Yoruba, represented by Awolowo; the Ißo, represented by Azikiwe; and the Hausa and Fulani, represented by Bello, all agreed with the English Colonial Government that the official name of Nigeria shall be: 'The Federation of Nigeria.'

Federation means a group of nations, coming together to form a country with a weak central government, but independence and strong regional governments.

The Ißo did not like the fact that only the Yoruba area has crude oil and waterways, and they therefore convinced the Fulani to stop Awolowo, the political leader of the Yoruba. So, in 1962, Awolowo was arrested for a false allegation of planning a coup to remove the Ißo and the Fulani from power and placed in prison. Ißo and the Fulani immediately began consideration of changing the official name of Nigeria.

And in 1963, the Ißo and the Fulani changed the official name of Nigeria from the Federation of Nigeria to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Republic refers to a country whose supreme power is exercised by an elected or nominated president with a powerful central government and a weak regional government.

The Ißo and the Fulani turned Nigeria from a Federation where the region is strong and independence of the central government to a Republic where the central government is strong and supreme with a weak regional government.

They have done this to control the Yoruba's crude oil and waterways, so that the Ißo and the Fulani who have no crude oil and waterways are mainly employed in NNPC and the NPA, more than the Yoruba who are the real owner of the crude oil and the waterways.

Lagos has to be destroyed if Ißo and the Fulani oppose the presidency of Tinubu and a return to the regional government.
