Igbos can't get presidency because of IPOB and the Biafran agitation.

* But the North which has produced more terrorist groups since the history of Nigeria can still go on to produce more presidents than any region in Nigeria? the NW and NE alone account for the highest rates of banditry, terrorism and national disasters in Nigeria on every index basis, yet the North gets a pass and clean slate when they want to run for power

The SW used OPC a yoruba ethic militia which killed hundreds of Nigerians (especially Northerners) in their various ethnic battles with them in various parts of the SW back in the 90's and early 2000s, and it can be argued that SW stakeholders leveraged on the agitations of OPC for a Yoruba nation back then including their documented streaks of ethnic violence on other groups to push for Yoruba Presidency, yet nobody remembers that one.... we all suddenly developed selective amnesia to that fact of recent history.

The South South used resource control agitations with the introduction of militancy and sabotage of economics oil pipelines etc to agitate for Presidency, lots of people perished in these struggles (Odi massacre comes to mind under Obasanjo), eventually the SS got their wish through GEJ, but it wasn't all wining and dining was it?


So why is the SE different? is IPOB and the Biafran agitation any different from the far more sophisticated and dangerous terrorist groups that proliferate the North? or the inescapable ethnic madness of OPC from the SW? or the militants causing unrest in the South South... all with one common denominator... to secure power for their respective regions? who holy pass for Nigeria? let him that is without sin cast the first stone

People know the truth but sentimentally choose falsehood. You cannot change those who do not want to change themselves. If you are a Nigerian, ignore the opinion of Biafrans. If you are a Biafran, ignore the opinions of Nigerians. It has become a survival of the fittest game.
