25 ISWAP Terrorists Drown in Marte River as Military Bombardments Kill Scores in Lake Chad

No fewer than 25 terrorists fleeing airstrikes of the Nigerian military have drowned in a deep river located within the Marte axis of the Lake Chad axis in the North East.

PRNigeria gathered that military fighter jets, including Super Tucano belonging to the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) ‘aggressively’ raided camps of the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) on Wednesday and Thursday in weeklong sustained aerial attacks.

An intelligence operative embedded in the local community confirmed that camps and warehouses serving as ISWAP insurgents’ ammunition and firearms were bombed by the aircraft.

“The military jets’ bombardments were simultaneously carried out at Bukar Mairam and Jubularam, Abbaganaram and Chikul gudu which resulted in the explosion of the warehouses, killing several terrorists.

“However, those who survived the blast at Bukar Mairam and Jubulram, fled and attempted to cross a river within the Lake Chad axis. It was in the process that about 25 of them got drowned ” he added.

He further told PRNigeria that recent air offensives by troops have impacted on ISWAP operational command, thwarting the group’s plans to carry out major attacks on military formations in the Northeast.

Did they physically count? When you are bombing from the air and there is no ground operation to follow up, how can you count? Ground operations will enable the army physically account for what truly transpired.

It is painful that these evil men have thrived so much in the north. How iswap and boko haram were allowed to grow to this level is very painful. More painful is the assistance provided to them by the rich and poor in the north. We see the poor helping them transport their arms. We see the poor women giving themselves away for the sexual pleasure of those vampires. It is very painful to note also that among the security personnel, many of them are saboteurs, giving information away and selling arms to them.

It is true that our commander in chief cannot be in the battle field, but we must not forget that he promised to lead the battle frontally. That for me meant that even from the comfort of his home, he should ensure that all within his power is done to wipe away those demons. His promise has appeared to follow the paths of several failed promises made to us by APC before 2015.

We look forward with hope that he will ensure peace by the time he leaves.
