The Elerin of Erin-Ile, His Royal Highness, Oba Abdulganiyu Ajibola Olusokun II MFR, yesterday celebrated his 80th years birthday as well as 40th anniversary on the throne of his forefathers.

The occasion was attended by Paramount rulers in Yoruba land such as the Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, Olusin Ijara-Isin, Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Orangun of Oke Ila, Olosi of Osi, Olojoku of Ojoku, Onira of Ira, Elerinmo of Erin Ijesha, Onire of Owa Onire, Oloyan of Oyan, Oluinisha of Inisha, Oloba of Oba ile, Oloro of Oro Kingdom, Elesie of Esie, Olokuku of Okuku, Onirese of Igbaja, Olomu of Omu Aran, Olupako of Share, Elerin of Erin Osun,

Important personalities were conferred with various chieftaincy title, among them was Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim as the Bobaselu of Erin-Ile land, which was witnessed by Former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki (the Waziri of Ilorin), and the Tafida of Ilorin, Alhaji Kawu Baraje, Hon. Kayode Ismail Tijjani (Member, Federal House of Representative) amongst other.

It was indeed a colourful event, to be rounded up with a thanksgiving service at the C & S movement church, Erin-Ile.
