What does it take to handover a crimanal to the us police?_

Imagine if the us is asking Nigeria government to handover kanu for prosecution? Will it take this long?

Why not reverse the question, if it were a US citizen, would the government of America hand him over? Of course not! So, why must we dance to their tunes?

Are you minding the liar? What is the discussion required in handing over an indicted officer to the US for prosecution other than an attempt to buy time and let it die a natural death

Why are we also not talking about the criminal Allen Onyema of Air Peace who is wanted by the US government for identity theft falsifying documents and laundering over 20 million dollars in the US.

Tribalistic comments, guess the story is about Abba Kiyari and Hush puppi not Onyema

Guess you lot thought US is Saudi that could release a drug traficker because APC government intervened.

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), says the United States Government and the Nigerian Government are discussing the possible extradition of the suspended Head of the Intelligence Response Team and corrupt criminal, DCP Abba "Tailor" Kyari, for his alleged role in a $1m scam allegedly perpetrated by alleged international Internet fraudster Ramon Abbas, aka, Hushpuppi and five others. The AGF also said reasonable grounds for suspicion have been established against Kyari.

The die is cast! I said it months ago that this criminal, fraudster and bald headed bastard, Abba "Tailor" Kyari would eventually find him self in the US custody sooner or later or else he would become a prisoner in Nigeria and NEVER to step out of the damned country. He can run but he would NEVER hide. His day of reckoning is almost at hand.

FBI officials flew to Nigeria, met the IG, told him they are interested in Abba Kyari, no one stops them from requesting for Allen Onyema too.

you can't compare the two of them, Kanu is not a friend to the government but this criminal here, he is part of the government (think about the criminal friends this criminal has in high places that will be fighting for their secrets not to go the US with him)...just my thought!

I am not part of the problem but just stating the obvious truth. He should be prosecuted here as the Government of America would have done the same if the roles were reserved.

We don’t have to dance to their tune cos they don’t own us. Do you know what the biggest fraud is, allowing millions to pay for Visa and SEVIS fee only to be told that there is no interview date.

Plus, do you think Nigerian fraudsters would be successful if their American counterparts were not aiding and abetting them?

Let Abba Kyari face the punishment here and not some damned country with a sense of superiority and entitlement.

Nigeria should NEVER extradite her security personnel to any fuckin power drunk country!
America will NEVER think of doing so and as such Nigeria shouldn't do so, and nothing will happen apart from useless sanctions. Nigeria has always been under indirect US sanctions anyways..
This zoo of a country is useless in her ways, but even amongst the zoo inhabitants, there should be some elements of national "zoological" pride

Are you justifying the corrupt super tailor cop?
If he's not guilty if probed by US, will that not add to his awards and credibilities ?
He has also probed a lot of people, let him face the music as well.

The same US tried Akinwunmi Adeshina of AFDB and acquainted him when not guilty.

Never justify criminality for whatever reason.

I'm sorry if I don't subscribe to your claims, let an American commit a crime in Nigeria first before making such claims. The crime committed here was in the US and that's why they will be tried in the States. There is no reason for debates here....he should go face his trial abeg. Also, the big question we should ask ourselves is "is there an extradition agreement signed between Naija and US?" If there is....then no reason for debates but if there is none, then you might have a point!

Stop being naive!
I don't know why some of you think so miserably. Is Nigerias supreme court in Washington? Are we not an independent country? The biggest black nation on earth!? Try him here, if there is any reason to do so... Sending him to America sends all the wrong messages to the rank and file. It makes it look like their allegiance is to America and not to Nigeria..

Evans said he was tortured by this man, the court will likely discharge Evans because Abba has been disgraced, if Evans says he was forced to confess and make those statements under duress , his lawyers can use this case to their advantage.

I am a detribalised Nigerian. I am from the southwest( Ekiti) and I will always stick to my views regardless of whose ox is gored. I do not care about Allen Onyema,Abba Kyari, Tinubu or any corrupt individual. I only responded to a topic regarding Abba Kyari. If the US have issues with any Nigerian, they can request for such Nigerian to be extradicted. Matter of fact, people such as Kyari and other corrupt Nigerians are the reason why Nigeria is not taken seriously in the comity of nations.

I want the death penalty for corruption. That is the only way to stop corruption. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.
