With what we have seen in recent days, it's possible any of these two will be president. However, let's not be preemptive. Assuming these are the final candidates (I think one of them will be). So let's assume that:

APC fields Chibuike Amaechi
PDP fields Peter Obi

Who would win the presidential election and why?
Which states and regions would each of these men win and why?
What is their individual strengths with regard to performance as Nigerian president?

Ok.
Amaechi will win the west and the north
Peter Obi will win the east
Amaechi will win 60-70% of SS votes.

Amaechi will win 80% of Rivers state votes
Peter obi will win 90% of Anambra votes.

They are both visionary leaders but Amaechi is better at executing his skills which could be felt by everyone and every sector than Peter Obi

Is it you that will give Amaechi 80% of votes in Rivers State? And what has Amaechi done for the south south people that you think he will get 60-70% of votes from south south people dukeprince50?

South West will experience a heavy apathy because their hope has been shattered.. Some of them don't even know whom to vote for because they see everyone after Ore as Igbo.. Ajomobi once insulted Uche secondus calling him Omo Igbo despite his exposure and education.. It's only on nairaland I am seeing this division..

North would be very confused on whom to vote for because they don't know who is who again .. If they could see Akwa ibomite as Igbos based on the past and what we read online you will understand where I am heading to.. Elrufai's son was insulting Akwa ibomite 2 yrs ago thinking he was insulting Igbos despite his exposure in politics too. If they could see minorities in SS as Igbos how much more about Amechi who is Igbo, though came from Igbo speaking part of SS that's having identity Crisis..

SS votes would be divided in favour of PDP because Amechi support base in SS is poor

SE will vote enmass for PDP

People will only vote base on political party lines if such PDP and APC zone their tickets to SE and SS

Same reason Buhari got 90%+ from Katsina, GEJ got 80%+ from Bayelsa and Peter Obi got 90%+ from anambra.

You're close to being on point. SE is PDP. SS will be 50-50. Voter apathy in the north and SW though APC may carry the day.

None of those two is getting any ticket, you will just come to nairaland to make yourself happy, nobody from the East can get ticket from the party you insulted, called Fulani party,no hausa man will vote South south or south east ahead of south west...if you stay in the main north, you know what I'm talking about... Yoruba will be confused about what,10 of buhari cannot deny us that ticket....
OSIBANJO is the next president of this country and I don't give a Bleep with whatever you want to say!
