[/b]BARCELONA ARE BACK ON TRACK[b]

Xavi Hernandez and his Barcelona side are certainly back in contention for the Uefa Champions league spot following their stellar performance and display at the Camp Nou against a well drilled Atletico Madrid side, who we know on a very good day are capable of causing any team all sorts of problems.

On the bright side, the future of Barcelona certainly looks bright with players such as Pedri , Gavi, Araujo and a certain returnee Adama traore performing to the best of their abilities which is really a welcome development.

However, in a season seen by many as a transitional one for the Catalan Club, after the whole fiasco of losing a certain Lionel Messi to French Giants Paris St. German, it would require a lot of patience from the Camp Nou faithful towards this Barcelona side, despite their hearts being filled with so much optimism after such a performance reminiscent of the good old days.

Honestly, those in charge of Barcelona’s recruitment of players really need to be commended for all their efforts during this winter transfer window in ensuring that they were able to get players who could not only compete, but also players who were willing to sacrifice a lot just to play for the Catalan Giants, due to their precarious financial situation.
