Nature Of Employment: Full time

Account Officer required in a Real Estate Company. Minimum of 2-4 years experience in Accounting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. BSC/HND in Accounting or Finance from a recognized University.

2. A Student member of Institute of Chartered Accounts of Nigeria (ICAN)/ACCA

3. Minimum of Two (2) Years Work Experience as an Accounting Officer in a well-structured organization

4. Proven knowledge of Accounting standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations

5. Proven knowledge in Tax computations and Tax filing.

6. Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Accounting package (preference for ERP software) and databases

7. Sound independent judgement Skills

8. Strong passion for work, high attention to details and excellent analytical skills

9. Excellent communication, inter personal, presentation and reports writing skills

10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline, self – motivator, determined and/or confident in his/her abilities to deliver

11. Young smart and intelligent.

12. Living in Ajah/Lekki Axis will be desirable.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Management of all accounting operations

2. Preparation, publication and circulation of timely monthly financial statements

3. Coordination and directing of the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reporting of variances

4. Supporting of month-end and year-end close process

5. Development and documentation of business process and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

6. Ensuring of quality control over transactions and financial reporting

7.Management and compliance with local, state and federal government re porting requirements and tax filings

8. Coordination of the preparation of regulatory reporting

9. Carrying out of researches into technical accounting issues for the purposes of compliance with subsisting laws and/or regulations

10. Ensuring prompt renewals of the company’s insurance policies

11. Reconciliation of bank statements and monthly financial reports

12. Preparation of monthly staff payroll and ensuring payment of salaries as and when due

13. Such other additional responsibilities that the company may consider expedient from time to time.
