¶ Manage all accounting transactions for the group
¶ Assist management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets, preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts and audits.
¶ Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
¶ Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
¶ Ensure timely bank payments.
¶ Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
¶ Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
¶ Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
¶ Audit financial transactions and documents.
¶ Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
¶ Comply with financial policies and regulations.
¶ Create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
- Provide oversight for all account officers in the subsidiaries.

Qualification
¶ The ideal candidate must have 3 - 5 years of similar job experience. Job experience in the health care industry is a strong plus.
¶ In-depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices.
¶ Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
¶ Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
¶ Ability to strategize and solve problems.
¶ Strong leadership and organizational skills.
¶ Excellent communication and people skills.
¶ An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
¶ BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
¶ Professional accounting/finance certification e.g. ACA, ACAA, CIMA, CFA.
¶ Proximity to Agege is an added advantage.
