

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking for a swimming pool and water treatment plant operator with experience in the operation of a swimming pool and water treatment plant. As a swimming pool technician, you would make sure that the water is clean and safe for use at designated hours. Also service and maintain swimming pools
You would also install and service water cleaning, filtering and purification equipment which is used for maintaining the pools. Additionally maintain the pool area in a clean, orderly fashion while assuring all pool safety rules and regulations are enforced.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs a variety of administrative duties in supervising staff and technical duties to maintain pool facilities.
2. Verifying membership details of members and guest availing pool facilities.
3. Using excellent customer service skills establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and all members.
4. Works under the supervision of the F &B – head of the Department.
5. Supervises and motivates Lifeguard Shift Supervisors, instructors and lifeguards.
6. Performs a variety of administrative duties in the planning, development and implementation of instructional, recreation and fitness classes as well as other aquatics programs, sports and special events.
7. Assists in maintenance and routine pump room duties.
8. Monitors and maintains pool filtration system.
9. Performs pump room duties, including backwash, handling and installation of chemicals as necessary.
10. Monitors pool water chemistry through testing of water samples.
11. Adjusts chemistry as needed to maintain standards. Handles chemicals such as chlorine, celite, CO2 , and muriatic acid.
12. Completes daily and monthly reports; maintains related records and statistics for various aquatics programs.
13. Plans and organizes workloads of staff.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Candidates should possess an OND / SSCE qualification with 1 – 3 years work experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience in the operation of a swimming pool and water treatment plant.
