There is something i noticed for a while now. Everytime i view someone's status on whatsapp, it will automatically save the videos on my phone even without me using a WhatsApp status saver app, also it saves ads on my phone. I noticed that my phone keeps indicating low memory despite the fact that i have only a few (business) apps, 4 videos and just 5 songs (not really a songs / video guy). I recently updated my file app and it showed that there are lots of hidden videos and songs on my phone that i did not know were there. These files do not show up in the regular gallery except you start digging deep into your phone before you can see where they're hiding and consuming space . I saw some people's status that i viewed from last year that i have even forgotten about. Am i the only one experiencing this ? 1 Like 1 Share |

Yeah, WhatsApp saves background data on the phone I guess. For example,once you view a status,the media is downloaded to a temporary location pending the time the status will last which is 24hrs. Stop viewing unnecessary statuses if you want this to stop. HallaDaTruth: 2 Likes |
