That the minister of petroleum, minister of state for petroleum, NNPC GMD, that Downstream nonsense agency that has a Farouk as Head are still in office and not behind bars for such an atrocity is an atrocity in itself.

I remembered industry critics argued why this very Farouk should be put in the downstream when he is an upstream guy and why the guy upstream was put there instead of here.

I guess this is an example of their reasons for disagreeing but PMB as usual wont budge.

The real question is why is it that all these companies accused of importing adulterated PMS aren't suing NNPC and Kyari for defamation.
I mean that level of accusation shouldn't be swept under the carpet as business as usual.

If they are innocent, they should take the FG to court so that the real culprits can be finger out!

This is how they will be pointing accusing fingers at each other until the matter will die just like that.That was how these fraudulent marketers were receiving subsidy payment and not delivering petroleum products to Nigerians and those who managed to imported the product were diverting it to sell in Chad and Benin republic until we didn't hear anything about them.Nobody has been punished up till now.

Hmmm. NNPC had claimed to be the sole importer of PMS all this while. Now they are saying otherwise . The wording of Oando's denial shows that they are indeed importing, just that they were not responsible for the tainted fuel. This is quite worrisome as it will indicate that NNPC and indeed the FGN has been misleading Nigerians.

The implication of this is that, they contracted the importing of PMS out like in the days of Jonathan and pay this importers. Key question is how are they sure that these importers declare the right amount imported and are not just claiming subsidy on fictitious imports? And its obvious that subsidy regime is as the same as of old. Just more opaque and full of lies and contradictions now
