The club has struggled greatly this season despite signing Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho in order to improve on the successes recorded last season. The club also, sacked their former manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and employed Ralf Rangnick to manage the players on interim basis but the results recorded so far has not improved.


Just few days ago, the club squandered a 1-0 lead against a relegation threatened Burnley. So all these has moved the Spaniard to lament and bare his mind about the situation at the club.


According to the interview granted El Pais, De Gea said, "I think someone has put a curse on us or something. The truth is I don't know what's going on, I really don't. People always ask me and we talk about it as teammates and we just say we don't know what's happening."
