Na your first car? And I assume an everyday car is what your looking for. 2012 toyota highlander or the 2015 are not bad.but wit ur budget I doubt the later. All d best.

No. I used 2004 big daddy and we currently have 2010 muscle. Just that I am married with three kids and I can't use the only car whilst my kids and wife are using bike.

I am practically carless when considered.

You can consider the following:
1. 2010 rav4 limited
2. 2010 highlander LE
3. 2010, 2011, 2012 Honda CRV
4. 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe
5. 2010, 2011, 2012 Honda pilot. (I have one for N4.8m)
6. 2010 Acura MDX
7. 2010 Volvo XC90
8. 2010 Acura RDX
9. 2010 Mazda CX-9. (Be wary of high mileage nits though. Their water pumps tend to fail spectacularly).

Go for acura mdx. The next suv on my list is acura mdx, lexus rx is too damn fragile. Honda crv too is good cos of its sporty suspension, just that its under powered. A whole 4 plugs.

I drive the Honda crv (2012) once in a while. It's 4 plugs but it's not slow.

It can get out of its own way as quickly as most sedans out there. Top speed is not amazing but how often do you need 160km/hr on your daily commute?

The mdx is solid but it has more maintenance items than the rx350. Body parts are also more expensive than the rx350. Just things to consider.

Fuel efficiency and speed do not go together.
The faster you are, the thirstier you are (most times).

I'd pick the rav4, then the crv before the Tucson.

I also love both the exterior and interior of the Tucson. Hyundai makes beautiful cars seriously. Ain't going the Toyota -Honda route for my wife's next car.
