The United Share Life Mission, Canada, has donated a carton of drugs to the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, to improve the wellbeing of students.

The United Share Life Mission is a non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Canada with the goal of improving the lives of indigent people through the provision of access to quality education and healthcare.

Speaking during a courtesy on the Vice-Chancellor, the President of the organization, Rev. Dr. Jude Dike, said he was mandated by God to carry out the assignment of helping those that cannot help themselves, especially orphans, widows, indigent students and the girl –Child through the provision of quality education and healthcare

He also pledged his commitment to always include the University in their programmes and advised that the drugs be judiciously used for the health benefits of staff and students.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sunday Elom, in his response expressed his gratitude to the organization, for their donations and pledged maximum use of the drugs for the good of staff and students. He also poured his heartfelt appreciation to the President of the association, noting that it was the second time the university community has benefitted from their benevolence.

While thanking the organization for their continued relationship with the University, the Director, Health Services, Dr. Henry Aloh thanked the President, United Share Life Mission for yet another gesture, noting that in 2018 they donated wheel chairs, walking sticks, eye glasses to the University.



Earlier in her opening remarks, the facilitator of the visit and a member of the organization, who also is a staff of the University, Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Nwudu said the organization is utterly committed to the alleviation of the challenges faced by indigent people, adding that the donation was to help the indigent students in the university.
