To the best of my knowledge, Abba Kyari is very much in Nigeria & neither travelled nor in hiding. If he has refused before now to honour any invitation by the police or NDLEA, he could be arrested in his house or even at the wedding of the IGP's son. After all, we have seen people arrested inside the church in Nigeria were they went for thanksgiving.

Why hold an international press conference declaring a suspended officer moving about openly in Nigeria wanted & why release to the public a video that is supposed to be a testimony in investigation or in the court?

Of course, we love drama, gossip & videos in this country & love sharing them more than anything else. In just one week, we have moved from sharing Oxlade's sex video, to Tinubu's agbada wet patch video & now to Kyari's alleged drug business. They sure know how to tune us. Videos & more videos.

We read daily of drugs worth billions of naira & dollars that Marwa's NDLEA seize which is very commendable but we are yet to be entertained with videos of how & whom they were seized from. Maybe, they will start publishing videos of their drug seizure operations from now on after this of Abba Kyari.

I have always stood for a better Nigeria. I have always fought for honesty, sincerity of purpose & transparency in public service & institutions of government. I am equally an advocate of fairness, justice, gratitude, loyalty & common sense.

In fairness, in justice, loyalty, gratitude, & in common sense, Mr Abba Kyari do not deserve this dragging he is being dragged like I pass my neighbour tiger generator.

If he has committed any crime, it doesn't have to go to court or dragged about on social media before it is established. A high power closed door investigation will reveal that in two weeks.
If he has stepped on powerful toes in the course of discharging his duties, the authorities need not disgrace him on social media to serve as a deterrent to law officers who want to be brave in the discharge of their duties.
If he is a cog in the wheel of the plans of those who want to keep this country boiling with insecurity for political capital & need to be silenced, there are better ways he should be moved.

Abba Kyari has merited a quiet retirement & easing out of the police force if his services are no longer needed or if Nigerians feel they are safer without him.That is how crime chiefs are relieved all over the developed world because the information, links, classified documents, policy strategies, connections, loyalties of men & officers etc they carry or are privy to, including those of the underworld syndicates, can destroy a government or a nation if they are not properly handled or if they feel pushed to the wall.
Magu was quietly eased out from EFCC & a new young chairman - Bawa, has continued without disrupting the system. Why can't the PSC do the same for Mr Kyari or were they afraid of the ripples Magu's threat of going to court to clear his name will cause the government & the police force.

The Nigerian police force is soaked in corruption from the PSC to the IGP's office, to Zonal DIG's office, to the state commissioner's office down to the DPOs office. Half of the police budget yearly go into private pockets. Yet, the officer who by performance merit is the calendar boy of the force, is the one singled out to be buried shamefully in mud.

How very strange....!

Many of those in this street who proudly shared daily pictures of Kyari's exploits dismantling criminals in their dens all over Nigeria are today happy with his travails & are accusing him of been showy & arrogant. I am not surprised though because many Nigerians on social media are fickle emotional oscillating pendulums.

The more Kyari is dragged about, the messier it will get. Today, a new twist to the narrative is circulating that the authorities want to use the NDLEA arrest to shield him from being extradited to the US to face criminal charges. And why would people not think that is the case when NDLEA is holding an international press conference declaring a man moving about openly in Nigeria wanted?

Wait till Obi Cubana or EMoney is mentioned in this drama & see the uproar with a new twist that will come out from a section of this country which will provide IPOB new ammunitions for their victim propaganda war with the FG & the rest of Nigeria.
Many are already insisting that Evans & Wadume, the most notorious kidnappers Kyari arrested & prosecuted successfully could be innocent & they should be retried.

But the Oscar Awards for the whole drama goes to those moving about with crocodile tears on social media since yesterday claiming to be heart broken by the latest kyari's alleged involvement in the drugs business. Una childish contrived emotional display, clearly a mockery of kyari is truely pathetic but God sees the heart of everyman.

Abba Kyari will always have my respect & gratitude for his brave sacrifice to rid this country of killers & criminals. He could well be guilty of the crimes he is accused of or he may well be another patriotic victim of the corrupt system.

Whichever it is, it's obvious the system he gave his best doesn't want him anymore. He should be quietly eased out of the force. That is the least he deserves!

They are hypocrites because they would have long done that even with mugshots were Abba Kyari a common criminal. They are yet to demonstrate this same lawlessness when they're investigating other people in taking their mugshotsholding with incriminating inscriptions.

And also parading them with their criminal items in press conference like they do to common criminals.So the NDLEA should bring Abba Kyari to answer questions on TV with display of the 25kg cocaine.
