immortalcrown:The way body camera works is that at the end of the officer's shift, they come back to the station and upload the footage with all time stamp accounted for. It's not like the camera is live streaming. 1 Like |

In as much as they make a law also that only video tendered evidence by police officer on street duty can be used for infraction against any person without which case is dismissed and the police pays for the inconveniences. |

Utter rubbish... For one the battery will fail or any other source of power. Two these officers will just deliberately switch it off. Three na another contract scam in waiting. Four even when recorded they will just be erased and nothing I mean nothing will happen to the officers. Five... Abeg add yours. I'm not a pessimist but let's call a spade a spade. Its DOA |

Nice, but another wày to enrich the corrupt officials in charge. Why not make it a law that every citizen has the right to film the security operatives whenever they are in operation. Make it compulsory that any citizen can video their operations and 'Stop n Search'. Let's clip the wings of these police, military and paramilitary officers who think they are superior to all of us. 1 Like |

tito44: This is what the once-famous turned infamous ENDSARS ought to have channeled the energy to till everything was lost. At least, even though the House of rep people mulled this does not mean it would be effected even in three years, but if the youth have clamored for this amongst with other two benefits, the government would have a rethink because disbanding SARS solves no criminality on the part of the police, and even increasing their salary mitigates nothing in terms of brutality may be for a while anyway. Having these body cameras like it is abroad, which of course would have a control room where such is monitored would go a long way in checkmating the police nefarious activities. This is a step in the right direction to start with if it eventually comes to pass. 1 Like |

AsabaPropertyAg: Misplaced priorities. Why would you advocate body cams for all security personnel? Is that as important as making sure they all are equipped with bullet proof vest and other protective gear to fight crimes? Awon werey set of people. |

KillerBeauty:Not advisable for naija. Who will honestly manage the storage database? Who will diligently watch the footage after collection? Imagine the lobbying that will happen between the men on duty and those assigned to get the footage. A whole airport authority and its almighty computers could not stop Kyari. Mental rehabilitation is the key thing. |
