NDLEA intercepts fake $4.7 million cash, rearrests nursing mother and others for drug peddling

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency stopped a syndicate's attempt to steal at least N2.7 billion from the Nigerian economy by circulating counterfeit $4.7 million currency.

One Abdulmumini Maikasuwa (Pictured below), a 52-Year-Old man, was allegedly arrested trying to deliver the parcelled counterfeit US dollars totaling $4, 760, 000.

In the same vein, operatives of the NDLEA also rearrested one Mrs. Rashidat Adebayo, 38, a nursing mother, who was caught in Offa with different medications such as Tramadol, Swinol, Diazepam, and Pentazocine injection ampules.
