After successfully qualifying Nigeria for the AWCON holding in Morocco in a few months, the Nigerian women's national team immediately departed the host country Ivory Cost. The team arrived Nigeria at about midnight, but was sadly kept hostage for well over 4 hours with little or no explanation.
