Everything we need to live without sin and free from the oppression of the devil has been given to us in Christ by His death and resurrection

Everything we can ever want in life that is godly has been given to us through the death of Jesus. There is nothing too hard in the sight of God that God has not given us already.

1 Corinthians 3:21b . . For all things are yours;

2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Everything Jesus did was for us, so as he was suffering for us, we can reign with Him in newness of life

Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

As Christians we are free from curses and that is God's promises concerning us, but we need to know that, a soldier is given a gun so as to use it

If a soldier wears his uniform and is not combat ready, such soldier would not last in the battlefield of life, God gave us authority and promises so as to exercise it

Jesus during His earthly days would cast out devil's and destroy the band of wickedness over the life of men, he did this knowing that is who He is. A destroyer of the work of the devil. The devil has held lives in bondages and men are doing things that they really wish they can be set free from. But God has given us the victory, the victory is the gun, it's left for us to shoot

We shoot knowing what is the will of God over that situation, then we war a good warfare standing on the promises of God and bringing anything contrary to the submission of what God has promised
