They invaded a sovereign nation without any direct provocation. You said you don't want Ukraine to join NATO, okay they haven't joined so why invade them?


Ukrainians aren't complaining about their President. Their President isn't a dictator who have governed for decades, they elected him and they are happy with him and will change him when his tenure expires.


They compare it with Israel and Palestinian crises but they are not the same. Israel and Palestinian are at loggerhead for decades now over land, so literally they are at war.


Russia have invaded Ukraine Crimea in 2014 and took over their land Crimea, okay let's agree Crimea belonged to Russia in the past and they have taken it. So why invade Ukraine again in a full war without any provocation rather using NATO jibberish as cover-up to destroy Ukraine and what they have labored for for years.

Russia have already granted them recognition. If they are the targer then its easy to take the war to defend Luhansk and Donetsk instead of attacking the whole Ukrainian nation and causing deaths of innocent civilians

Nairalanders never fail to disappoint. The ignorance here stinks to high heavens. When i see how people are regurgitating the western media propaganda i start asking myself what the future of Nigeria will be like with such uninformed youths.

As usual the mainstream media is fooling all of you and I'll explain whats actually going on as briefly as possible .

During the soviet Union era, the soviets wanted to build an international military base in Cuba which was and still is in major alliance with Soviet / Russia. The then American president resisted at all course. That's because missile warheads could have easily been launched from cuba into the United States. At the fall of the soviet Union, western nations signed an agreement that NATO will not move into former Soviet colonies and that countries such as Ukraine will never be a part of NATO or be armed with nuclear capabilites.

Fast forward how many years after, NATO flouted those rules and are not only trying to bring Ukraine into NATO, they are also trying to Arm Ukraine to the teeth, a move which is very dangerous to the security and safety of Russia.

How will America and the other Westerners feel if Russia were to build military bases in places like Canada, Mexico, Bahamas etc surrounding the United States. MAINSTREAM MEDIA WILL NEVER POINT THIS OUT.

There are other cities in Ukraine that want to willingly join Russia because they are Russian speaking people who have accepted Russian citizenship. Do not also forget that crimea willingly joined Russia and the people were so happy to display their Russian passport. That news even made it to nairaland front page but as usual, a lot of you forgot.

If America will not allow Russia building bases next to them, they and their western counterparts should also stop pushing into Russian territories under the pretence of NATO expansion.

Russia does not have a big media machine like the west and that's why we have been getting one sided information. Same thing they did with the biggest lie in History called covid SCAMdemic. Don't be too quick to conclude. Search for the truth, its Important.
