Focus: The Mistake of Young People

One of those ways to lose out in destiny is to reject or neglect the wise counsel of godly elders. The experience of those who have gone ahead of you in various aspects of life is paramount to your success in life!!!

The wisdom that emanates from the civilisation of this present age cannot be compared to the experience of a man in the journey of destiny. King Solomon who enjoyed and explore the best things that life can offer said "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." Eccl 1:9. Wisdom demands that you should not neglect the wise word of those who have gone before you in any aspect of life.

King Rehoboam lost ten kingdoms because he rejected the advice of elders. The greatest evil that can happen to a young man is to live his life without taking instructions from those who have gone ahead of him. Considering the wise words of godly elders will never harm you but will guide and enhance your procession in the journey of destiny. Be mindful of the fact the life of the elders around you represent either success or failure; their lives will provide a useful clue as you proceed in destiny!!!

Lord! Help me to always identify and yield to godly counsel; in my destiny walk, may I never live in regrets in Jesus' name. Amen!!!
