In the lore of military aviation, any pilot who has been credited with five or more aerial combat kills that downed enemy aircraft, is immediately inducted into the Hall of Fame as an "Ace" fighter pilot.

Already within the first week of full-scale war in Ukraine, a military aviator of legendary credentials has emerged. A thus-far unknown and unnamed Ukrainian fighter pilot at the helm of a Russian-made Mig 29 tactical fighter jet, has been officially credited with aerial dogfight victories that blew apart SIX Russian fighter jets one after the other during the course of several combat sorties that went down over just 48 hours of vicious and desperate aerial dogfights where no quarter was given by either side.

Amazingly, the now fabled "Ghost of Kyiv" Mig 29 fighter pilot was able to prevail against an identical Mig 29 fighter jet flown by a seasoned Russian aviator who finally met his match in the skies over Ukraine two days ago. For sure the old maxim holds that the first casualty of war is the truth, but it is only when the smoke finally clears and the final tally is taken, that the world will know for sure whether this ace pilot actually flew the skies over Kyiv, or merely existed as a figment of fertile imaginations, perhaps concocted to strike fear into the hearts of enemy aviators as they throttled up their jets on the takeoff roll for battle.
