Further to earlier advisory on potential protest on the East - West road connecting Onne to Port Harcourt, update from reliable sources confirm protest has been postponed following discussions between key stakeholders. With this development, traffic flow in and out of Onne is expected to remain uninterrupted on Tuesday March 1, 2022.



In the meantime, as per latest update, the planned strike called by Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) is still expected to take effect from 1st March 2022. As per our understanding, engagement between representatives of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) and MWUN is ongoing in an attempt to avert the strike.
