The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has revealed that the Gã people of Ghana originated from Ile Ife, the ancestral home of the Yoruba people. The 47-year-old monarch made this statement on Sunday when King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II of Gã State visited Ile Ife, Osun State. The Gã people reside on the southeast coast of Ghana and speak the Kwa language.
