Let's leave out the conditions that led to the war or the current state of things. This is not about who is winning or losing or any sort of propaganda. Just a little dig into the philosophy and mind of Putin.

Let's say Russia wins, and by winning, I mean, they overrun the Ukrainian military and take over the country, what then? How will the new country operate in a war that favours Russia?

Considering that most Ukrainians seem to be for their country in this war, considering that they all seem united, what exactly is Putin's game plan? Install a new President? How can that work?

Say a new president is installed, how does he function effectively or even survive the hate that will arise from Ukrainians who'd accuse him of trachery? Is the goal to destroy Ukraine or to take it?

If it is destroyed, what then is the gain knowing that the sanctions will not be lifted? If held and a loyalist installed, sanctions too will not be lifted and the likelihood of implosion by the new government high.

Will Ukrainians forget the deaths and destruction and just move on, remaining loyal to a new Pro-Russian government? Will Russians be moved to the destroyed land to start a new civilization? What exactly is Putin's end game? How does one make sense of his Endgame?

Don't mind Putin and his war mongers this is not a mission to free ukraine but to occupy it so it doesn't matter if the remaining Ukrainians accept the new government or not, but Russia will gain from Ukraines mineral deposits
