B52 is not stealthy , it is a long range startegic bomber . F35 , F22 raptor etc are stealthy.

B52 has been available in American nuclear deterrence fleet since 1960 during JFK administration because of its share and monstrous size, able to carry munitions to cause a deadly blow to the enemy .

That's why the Chinese don't want to see it, they have some number at the Pacific US territory of Guam. It can also fly from US and deliver it's payload any where in Asia and back without refuelling.
