I could still remember vividly, he was forced to reign his position not that he wanted to leave because his tenure expired but because of low performance. and few months after his political career terminated, he also died.
During Tukur's reign was when PDP started going down till most of the strong members left the PDP...and you can see what PDP is today...rubberstamp opposition party.
You don't choose people into positions because of the strong connection you have with them, you choose them based on capacity and skill to do the job satisfactorily...
