One of Nigeria and Afrobeats greatest acts, Davido will be headlining his 3rd concert at the famous O2 Arena in London, England on Saturday, 5th March. It’s been one of the hottest trending topics as far as Nigerian music and Afrobeats is concerned.

To increase the hype and buzz surrounding the event, Davido released a fresh advert in collaboration with Udux Music, who will be handling the livestream of the event. And to the surprise of everybody, it’s veteran American actor, director, and narrator Morgan Freeman’s iconic voice over the advert.

“We rise by lifting others, this is part of his legacy. Everything he does is for this purpose. This music is a way of not just inspiring people but lifting them,” said Freeman in the opening of the video.

Not sure anybody has played or acted out the voice of God in a movie more times than Freeman has, and that’s a testament to the uniqueness of his now iconic and booming vocal.

It’s only a voice over but, considering that Freeman has been involved in several A-list performers’ and organizations’ adverts including Kanye West, Dave Chapelle, Trevoh Noah, and many others in the past, this is a statement by Davido that he’s up there with the very best.
