Job Summary

We (a recycling company) are looking for an experienced operation manager to supervise all operation processes at our factory. The operation manager is responsible for ensuring that targets are met while following factory rules and regulations. To be successful as an operation manager you must be able to multitask. A good operation manager has excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills and fosters positive relationships with clients and employees.
Job Description/Requirements

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring monthly production targets are met.
• Support, define and implement plans and objectives for the growth of the factory.
• Manages the production operation costs within the budget provided.
• Manages all spare parts and inventory.
• Continuously provides feedback on cost improvement opportunities in production and production support.
• Manages the maintenance function to ensure that all components and accessories that are used in the production are 100% available and functioning to support production.
• Responsible for generating production reports with details as required by the Managing Director for clear analysis of product performance and support.
Requirements

• Prior experience as an operation manager,
• Minimum of OND
• Knowledge of standard factory machinery layout and workflow
• Knowledge of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (added advantage).
• Natural leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to problem-solve.
• 5 years of experience
