The Nigerian Police motto is "to serve and to protect". Let's face it, they have failed woefully and will continue to fail woefully in the "to protect" aspect. For example, if potential assassins or kidnappers invaded the venue of that event the policeman would definitely abandon that yeye woman and 'protect' his own life first.
