Our company is looking for a Business Development Officer – Sales to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating deals with potential clients.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
• Recognize the needs of the consumer and provide detailed information to the consumer about the technical specifications of the services and products offered by the company.
• Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
• Provide technical support after merchandise is purchased.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
• Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
• Travel to areas where needs are projected.
• Stay abreast of market trends and competitors
• Work on, proofread and edit proposals
• Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes.
• Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals.
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our service and recommend new ways to fill them.
• Serve as a customer service representative for customers who have questions or difficulties.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
• Maintaining client records.

Requirements:
• Minimum of ND
• At least 2 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing
• Hands-on experience with Sales strategies and dynamics (One on One, Social Media Marketing etc.)
• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
• Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision and meet deadlines

Location:
• Abuja

Salary: Negotiable + Sales Commission, and Logistics allowance.
