The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has submitted the names of Iduma Igariwey and Fred Udogwu to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC as the new Governor and Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State.
PDP National Chairman, Senator Dr Iyorchia Ayu while addressing a world press conference on Tuesday said the decision is in line with the directives of the Federal High Court in Abuja which sacked Umahi and his deputy following their defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the PDP.
Igariwey is a current member of the House of Representatives representing Afikpo North/Afikpo South federal constituency of Ebonyi State.
