The hideous way she went about it made it look as if she was doing something illicit. She committed no crime in trying to go home with her food package. Nothing is wrong by simply requesting for a takeaway pack and if there is none, she can neatly package it in a polythene bag, hold it conspicuously as she leaves. Even the young man that spotted her must be actually ashamed of her action but decided to mind his business since she wasn't committing crime. Yes, as a lady with very high shoulders, she wouldn't want to be seen going home with food served in a party, but I'm sure she would have preferred to be seen that way rather than in this mess. The truth is that most responsible ladies rarely eat in this type of gathering, so they rather go home with the food, and in most cases, would like their children to have little bite of the party's dish. |
