Yoruba One Voice (YOV) on Wednesday, accused the Federal Government of trying to silence the agitation for Nigeria’s split.

A statement by Publicity Secretary, Omoladun Orolugbagbe, noted that the country is confused going into the 2023 general polls.

The spokesperson said YOV will continue to clamour for self-determination because “the elections cannot solve the myriads of problems bedevilling the nation”.

Orolugbagbe highlighted insecurity, high debt profile, unstable economy, unending political logjam and disregard for human rights and international laws.

The diaspora group lamented Nigeria is famous for borrowing and has become one of the leading debtor nations.

“It is unfortunate that for almost seven years, President Buhari has spread hunger, pain, insecurity and chaos.”

The were reports that Buhari’s administration will be paying the International Monetary Fund(IMF) $3.51billion for debt servicing in five years.”

Orolugbagbe said Nigeria has been surviving on loans, blaming the government for “mortgaging the future” with huge debts.

YOV vowed not to relent in its clamour for the exit of Yoruba people, “irrespective of the government’s attempt to silence dissenting voices.”

“We demand freedom and prosperity for Yoruba land. Let us say no to injustice and demand nothing less than Yoruba Nation”, the statement added.

"Yoruba One Voice (YOV) on Wednesday, accused the Federal Government of trying to silence the agitation for Nigeria’s split."

WHAT IS THIS FELLOW EXPECTING? A GOVERNMENT THAT WOULD FOLD IT's ARMS AND WATCH A COUNTRY HE OVERSEES TO BE DECIMATED OR ALLOW SOME DULLARDS TAKE OVER IT'S AUTHORITY.

Were this delussional minions asking for kidsgloves to their thoughtless brigandage, perhaps.

"The spokesperson said YOV will continue to clamour for self-determination because “the elections cannot solve the myriads of problems bedevilling the nation”."

THE QUESTION AS RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE WOULD BE THAT THIS BUNCH OF DULLARDS EXPALIN AND OR DEFINE THE WORDS "Nation and Self-Determination".

The world would like to know the answers to the question above, including who is in charge in the Yoruba states? Mallams and Fulanis, i want to guess.

THESE MISGUIDED ELEMENTS DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE UP TO. THEY DID NOT DEFINE AND THOUGHT-OUT WELL THE RECKLESS AND SENSELESS ROUBLE ROUSING THEY EMBARKED UPON BEFORE JUMPING INTO MEANINGLESS RUSTTLINGS, WITH ABSURD AGITATION.

I advise they go read TRIP. It is on this platform and get educated and well INFORMED. They should stop the ridicule of the Yoruba people, an erstwhile tribe of BRILLIANT people.

I have not read from any part of the constitution where it stated that you cannot walk out and away from the nation space called Nigeria. You could just walk across the Republic of Benin and off you go.

MAY I ASK WHER WHEN AND AT WHAT TIME THE YORUBA PEOPLE CONVENED AND RESOLVED TO EXIT THE NIGERIAN NATION AND WHO ARE THE "we Yoruba Muslims".

No name, no address. FACELESS people have no moral ground to be considered for anything. Just speak for your delussional self alone. Mister.

When you become reasonable and serious with your spurious stand, including after having read TRIP which is on this platform for better understanding will I decide to have a dialogue and with you.
The same cocky mentality that you all wallow in, yet UNINFORMED and ahistorical remains the reason you are all delusional in the MORIBUND exercise. Ala ti ko le se. Keep up your illusions.
