Cos if they stopped now without getting the result of why they invaded Ukraine then it will be a disgrace and a shame for them.

Okay, this not your typical rant.
Of course it is working - and the ordinary Russian on the streets knows it is affecting her - add businesses and Govt parastatal to the list.
However, it will be naive to think they have not prepared for this - it might be they prepared adequately or perhaps they did not. But for sure they must have thought through ways of adapting to the situation.

In particular, observe that they also have very strong institutions and have very strong background in the sciences. These are not bunch of bastards as you might think.

In summary, one needs to read and not blindly fall into the trap of passing a moral/ethical judgement without an understanding of the situation.

There are many books out there on these issues, I encourage you to read and read more. Then take practical notes from the unfolding events!

And no it has nothing to do with shame as someone proposed. Bless you sir!

They are crushing the people of Russia. Their life savings sank to pennies overnight, goods and services have become scare, and make family members are being sent to the frontlines of war.

How many Russians have you seen lament about the international sanctions?!

The truth is Russia isn't import dependant like Africa, so they still have enough opportunity to adjust their lifestyle to the new reality

If German automakers stop sending in cars to Russia they have AvtoVAZ, GM‑AvtoVAZ ,PSA Bronto and other car manufacturers

If iPhone and Samsung stops sales in Russia they have phone makers like Explay,Gresso,Highscreen,Megafon

Just as MasterCard and Visa issued their threats, UnionPay and Bitpay with crypto took Center stage

Russians are never prepared for this, But only Putin in His pockets.
This sanction is bleeding Russia heavily, Putin's ego will not let him backdown, But it's only a matter of time before they inner cycle of him revolts.

Keep deceiving yourself.
Stay in naija and post trash, even your country is feeling it gradually and you're here posting trash.

We import wheat from Russia Which is the best for bread making, wait till you start buying the biggest bread for #1000.

All phones you mentioned and the cars you mentioned, you think they produce 100% of everything use for it in Russia?

You see that's where you fail to reason towards to.

Ask NK, ask IRAN, ask VENEZUELA

sanctions are only felt in the first few months, you just learn to live with it.

With all the sanctions on NK and her "world isolation", she still births military projects Nigeria can only dream off. This is a nation that has nothing to sell in the open.
NIGERIA WITHOUT SANCTIONS, WHAT IS LIFE LIKE.... how are we treated in the international community? How many visa free european or Samerican countries can we visit? If we are not going to spend money, we aren't allowed into their countries? IS IT NOT BETTER TO BE SANCTIONED? undecided

They view the situation as an existential threat. Once a nation feel threatened, they could go to any length to defend themselves- that is one dark side of the nation-state.

One needs to understand the historical undertone of the conflict to make meaning deduction.

In this case, the existential threat is a key factor and analysts have been warning about this decades ago. But hey, I might be wrong!

Stay blessed sir.
