What Is The Rotary Peace Fellowship About?
The Rotary Peace Fellowship is a fully funded masters degree and professional program designed for leaders with work experience in peace and development.

The program kicked off in 2002, and ever since more than 1,500 people have benefitted from it and now work in over 115 countries. Every year, 130 rotary awards are given to dedicated leaders around the world.

The purpose of the program is to develop global leaders who will pursue peace and transformation in the world by serving in government NGOs, education and research institutions, peacekeeping, law enforcement agencies, and International organizations like United Nations and the World Bank.

Who Is/Are The Host Institution(s)?

The Rotary Peace Program partners with Six world-class Universities to offer transformational leadership trainings. The Five Universities are:

Duke University and University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill USA

Fellows can obtain a master's degree in International development policy from Duke or a Master's degree from various departments at the University of North Carolina. To add to that Fellows at both universities can earn a graduate certificate in peace and conflict resolution from the University of North Carolina.

International Christian University Tokyo, Japan

The ICU Graduate School of Arts and Science is renowned for its interdisciplinary programs and liberal arts methodology. Fellows can pursue a master's degree in Peace studies within the department of Public Policy and Social Research.

Home to one of the world's largest Division of Peace Studies the University offers several Masters degree related to peace conflict security and International development.

One of Australia's finest University for research, Fellows can earn a master's degree in International studies and peace and conflict studies at the Graduate Centre of Governance and International Affairs.

The University of Uppsala is one of Sweden's most prestigious Universities. It is internationally known for its free and globally accessible collection of data related to armed conflict and organized crime. Fellows can earn a master's degree from the Department of Peace and Conflict Research.
