Investors call for arrest of Marksman Ijomah, Amanda Chisom as Chinmark Over N10bn investment scheme crashes

As over 10,000 Chinmark Group investors face losing billions of investment, some of them have called for the arrest of Marksman Ijomah, Amanda Chisom, and other principal officers of the doomed investment firm.

The arrest warrants were issued in response to the firm's inability to pay a return on investment, also known as ROP, to their numerous investors since December 2021.

While Ijomah is the company's founder, Amanda Chisom is the brand ambassador who enticed thousands of investors to join the scheme.

According to financial experts, investors stand to lose more than N10 billion in the scheme, which they describe as a ponzi scheme.

Ijomah is also said to have changed ownership of the firm's physical assets, removing his and his wife's names as directors.

A CAC search on Chinmark's group companies, for example, revealed that Mr Marksman Ijiomah had renamed the hotel in Enugu from Chinmark Suites to Bridge Suites.
