Now that we know the candidates for the forthcoming elections the battle has just began.

PDP. Demola Adeleke

Its not a done deal for either candidate.

To be honest Osun election may spring a surprise and its very difficult to predict.

What does Oyetola have in his favour?


Power of incumbency

The Tinubu/ Apc magic touch.

Payment of salaries and pensions

Things may just swing in any direction at the polls.

Remember Tinubu is also fighting his personal battles ( which he hasn't won yet ).


Oyetola is not popular and not loved by the people. He is not politically savvy.
He does not connect with the people.


The payment of salaries. No big deal.

If we analyse the data in Osun State, we will discover that civil servants make up a very small fraction of registered voters.



For Demola Adeleke. He represents a breath of fresh air. The long awaiyed departure from APC.

He enjoys more grassroot love and admiration. He also has a deep treasure chest.



Its a tough call at the end of the day. Difficult to predict.
