While revealing that she and her new husband have no plans to have kids together and she is considering converting to Islam as her religion, she made it clear she is not with Adeoti because of money, but because she loves him and he is her best friend. She said her kids are abroad, and she pays their fees in dollars, meaning she is not broke but extremely comfortable.
Shortly after this interview dropped, Adeoti's ex-wife, Funsho or shall we say his first wife came out with fire and fury to shame the new couple. Debunking Mercy Aibe's sugar-coated fairytale story in a lengthy post, the mother of four who addressed Adeoti as her soon to be ex-husband revealed that she never agreed to have a second wife in her marriage with him. She also validated the rumours that she and Mercy Aigbe were very close friends, adding that she was the one who invited the actress and her ex-husband to the 40th surprise party she threw for Adeoti eight years ago. Funsho explained that shame and the glam lifestyle the Mercy Aigbe projects will not let her admit she has been sleeping with Kazim Adeoti since her son was only five months old.
Lanre Gentry also reacted after trolls continued pestering him to conduct DNA for his son with Mercy Aigbe. He said the mistake with Adekaz's wife was bringing an "Ashawo" into her home, asking how many DNA tests he can conduct for Dogs." Wow!
To make matters worse, a throwback video of the Edo actress advising side chics also surfaced online. In the video Mercy Aigbe urged women dating married men to chop their money, cash out, and secure the bag, advising them not to live with him because he belongs to another woman.
After watching this video, people began tagging the mother of two, a professional side chic who became a wife, swearing that nothing truthful comes out of her mouth.
So with two failed marriages and a third, which has become a messy scandal as the wife, the main victim, is speaking out, many people are finding it hard to believe Mercy Aigbe's side of the story. This video of her advising young ladies on how to date a married man exposed her further and became the final nail in the coffin.
Can this woman be ever trusted with other women's men? Well, we will let you tell us your opinion in the comment section.
How about Mercy Aigbe and her new husband's interview? Do you think she lied about many things, including not being friends with his first wife?
Does Kasim Adeoti being a Muslim justify Mercy Aigbe becoming his second wife?
Finally, who do you believe? Adeoti and Mercy or Funsho and Lanre Gentry?
