God will only bless you to the extent you can manage. Life will only give to you what you can manage, and if something has not yet come your way, the one thing you should query is your management skill. One of the things you must learn to manage properly as you rise in life is your relationship; whether at work, your neighborhood, church and everywhere.
What am trying to tell you is that, until you develop people skills, there is a limit to which you can rise in your career and in life. As you climb the ladder of life, your people skills become more relevant than your professional skills. You will only go as far as your relational management skills allow you to go. People are more important than the job that needs to be done because if they are not happy the job will either not be done or shabbily done.
