The west has banned Russian media from their space. From Google to Facebook, twitter to tiktok, Russian media is been banned by "democracies" across the globe (never mind free press being a pillar of democracy)

It begs the question why is Africa dumping ground for all these narrow interest news corporations, because if anything is obvious in the last few weeks, it is that there is nothing like freedom of speech or free press. If you find yourself still talking it is not because you have unlimited freedom to do that, you just haven't reached your limit as defined by someone, a corporate interest or a government.

Shouldn't we guard and take our "infosphare" seriously and tell our own stories ourselves?

It is getting really scary that people are scared to voice opinions contrary to anything popular or mainstream on well known platforms for fear of being cancelled or even sacked from work.

Where are we heading to in this free society

Africa isn't a dumping ground.... Our leaders give too much respect to them and they're using our collective intellect... We in turn, will keep voting illiterates.... Imagine the construction telling us that for someone to be qualified to become a president, his/her list qualification should be First school leaving certificate....?
