Begining in 2014, there an increased effort at regime change in Ukraine with the goal being the induction of Ukraine into the North Atlantic treaty Organisation(NATO).
If Ukraine ever becomes a NATO member state then Russia will have NATO at its very door step, in essence, NATO and its chief member the United States can hit Moscow with nuclear warheads within seconds so clearly, this is an unacceptable option considering Russia and the United States are arch-rivals. It is a redline that if crossed might lead to the end of the world as we know it.

In 1962 when the United Soviet State Republic(USSR aka Russia) as it was then known, wanted to have its troops and nuclear warheads stationed in Cuba, its ally located in South Americas( Communist Cuba was a close ally of Russia and a close neighbour to the United States similar to the situation today with Ukraine, a U.S ally and neighbour to Russia) but the Kennedy administration then objected to this move by Russia citing that "it was too great a security threat for the U.S even though Cuba, a sovereign nation approved of the move and gave approval to Russia its ally to station troops on its soil, yet the U.S dissapproved. The U.S Then went ahead to impose a millitary blockade around Cuba( as the Russians are doin in Ukraine now) rufusing to allow Russian weapons and troops into Cuba.

Did Cuba have the right to do what it wants on its own territory? At the time the U.S denied Cuba their sovereign right citing "threat to U.S security"
We were on the brink of nuclear war in 1962 but the Russians stood down and allowed peace to reign.
Similarly, in the same vein, Russia being a superpower has the right to protect its national security as the U.S did in 1962 and anything short of this will be an all out nuclear apocalypse.
Consider this a fair warning, call for NATO's withdrawal from UKRAINE.

America should be respectful in its response towards Russia as far as this Ukrainian invasion is concerned. Snake doesn't eat snake. Both are nuclear super powers, at least for the sake of humanity as any collusion could lead to a global destruction of cataclysmic dimension.
