OFFICIAL PROFILE OF SENATOR ADEMOLA JACKSON NURUDEEN ADELEKE

Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke is a Nigerian politician and businessman of the popular Adeleke family of Ede North Local Government of Osun state. An urbane scion of a major political family in South West Nigeria, Senator Adeleke is an innovative entrepreneur and a grassroot political force in Osun state politics.

He had his secondary education at Ede Muslim Grammar School Ede before he relocated to the United States to continue his studies at Jacksonville State University, Alabama in the United States where he majored in criminal justice with a minor in political science.

Following his passion, business interests and entrepreneurship opportunities, Senator Adeleke joined Quicksilver Courier Company in Atlanta, Georgia, US, as a service contractor between 1985–1989. He progressed to Origin International LLC, Atlanta, Georgia, US, a flavours and fragrance manufacturing company where he served as Vice President from 1990 to 1994.

A suave businessman and administrator, he served as a Director of Guiness Nigeria Limited between 1992- 1999 where he contributed immensely to the expansion of the multinational company. He was later appointed Group Executive Director of Pacific Holdings Limited from 2001 to 2016.

Senator Adeleke is also an acclaimed creative Industry entrepreneur and mentor. As a talented creative figure, he mentored world rated ace musicians while his family members and children are leading stars in global music industry.

To complete his educational sojourn which he suspended because of business and entrepreneurial preoccupations, Senator Adeleke in 2019 went back to school in the United States where he re-enrolled at Atlanta Metropolitan State College in the United States and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice in 2021.

His passion for politics and serving the people started as early as 1991, while he was elected with a landslide victory as a Senator for Osun West Senatorial District in 2017, after the demise of his late brother. His popularity reached a peak when he won the Osun 2018 governorship election in the first round before the controversial rerun election that favoured the incumbent governor of the state.

A great football lover, Senator Adeleke was a member of Ede Muslim Grammar School football team where he played from the wing as No 7. As a team player and great contributor to the development of the school, he was elected President, old boys association of the secondary school.

His major stand out qualities are consensus building, resource management, attention to details, compassion for the poor, communal and interpersonal communications, firmness in decision making and a great listener.

He is well loved by the people and very popular across the state with nickname 'Imole' (Light), Senator Adeleke is a frontline contender for the state governorship election slated for July 16, 2022.

He is happily married and blessed with children who are doing well in various endeavours of life

Commiseration to Osun State Civil Service as Oyetola Extends Olowogboyega's Reign of Calamity*m

Let us begin by saying that this extension did not come to us as a surprise. We knew it and Olowogboyega confirmed it, long before now. But we are happy for one thing - we successfully thwarted Olowogboyega's efforts at altering his date of birth for the second time. At least, he has not being able to attach credibility and legitimacy to the *"overtime"* he will be spending, beginning after the 24th day of March, 2022

*"E fiwon sile. Mo mo wipe inu nbiwon. Gomina to moore l'Oyetola"* (leave them alone. I know they are angry. Oyetola is a grateful governor). Those were Olowogboyega's words while celebrating his extension with his innermost caucus. One of his supporters said the alusion to Mr. Governor being a grateful man is linked to the various:
1) contentious conversions,
2) controversial preferments
3) secrete recruitments and,
4) various violations of establishment rules.
Most of these breaches, according to report, were nepotistic in execution as they were done to favour a particular section of Osun State. We are compiling facts on the various impunities.

Cursed is the day Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola appointed Festus Olowogboyega Oyebade as the Osun State Head of Service. Condemned is the day Adegboyega Oyetola extended the catastrophe.

Oyetola has shown courage in reversing most of the evil legacies of Aregbesola. And we must exercise restraint in blaming him for embracing this one tragedy. Oyetola is human. If, like Olowogboyega has claimed, the devilish and thoughtless installation of Olowogboyega has benefited, and is still benefitting Mr. Governor, then he may chose to pretend that the misfortune does not exist. But posterity will also remember him for embracing some afflictions because of personal and/or community benefits.

On several occasions, Oyetola has publicly condemned extension of Civil Servants' tenure as illogical, difficult to defend, and a condemnable form of corruption. Mr. Governor said the self-serving act is a morale-killer for those workers coming behind, and that it carries a lazy presumption of indispensability. If a man is in a position to perform legitimate functions, then he can be replaced, and there is no common sense in extending the stay.

To be fair to the debased Head of Service (the worst in our history), Mr. Governor did not reverse himself with his case. Mr. Governor has long abandoned his own laudable principle before now; first with Engr. Akande of the Ministry of Works, and later with Adeoye Bakare of SUBEB. And we expect many more to come. The very moment Akande's tenure was extended, Olowogboyega began to brag around that his own elongation was guaranteed. Now, it has become a bragging fulfilled!

We are aware that public officers in Nigeria care less about their public utterances. As for the Osun State Civil Service, there is no cause for alarm. No matter how long this era of Olowogboyega is, it will end. Our Civil Service will eventually recover, rise again, and regain her lost glory.

On behalf of the forum of Osun state PDP youth leaders, we felicitate with Distinguished Sen. Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke on his well - deserved victory at just concluded PDP gubernatorial primary held on the 8th of March, 2022 at
Osogbo township stadium.
We thank all the delegates that cast their votes for our candidate.
It is high time we came together as a party to unite and be a formidable team that will wrestle power from the APC government that has made life difficult for the people of this state. Poverty, suffering and hardship are the trademark of this inept government of APC in this state.
We use this medium to appeal to our party candidate to walk the talk of his speech that "there is no Victor, there is no vanquished". In the spirit of sportsmanship, all other aspirants must be carried along for the sake of the members of our great party. The tasks ahead of us are arduous and enormous but our goal is achievable.
We beschee our aggrieved members to sheathe their swords, let us embrace peace in the interest of the good people of Osun state, that are yearning for the good governance that PDP will provide for the state. We are bound to disagree on the political struggle but we have to come together to win the crown to our side. Victory is sweet, let us all work for the victory of this party.
APC is a rejected party across Nigeria now, let us all take the bull by the horn to send the calamitous party out of our state.
We appeal to all our notable leaders across the state to work together to actualize the onerous task of returning PDP to power in our dear state on 17th July, 2022.
