At the start of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, big tech companies were the first to shut down their physical offices and advocate for remote working. Now, two years later, it would seem that they are weighing their options for the future. So then, Why Do Big Techs Want Employees Back In The Office?

Twitter, for instance, does not want its executives to return to the office full-time. Neither does Slack. After the pandemic had lessened, both companies still allowed their employees to work either partially or fully remotely.

On the other hand, Amazon believes everyone should return to the office once safe. Companies like Google and Apple, who allow two work-from-home days each week, fall somewhere in the middle. Tech workers, like many others, do not want to return to the office full-time.
