A student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, (OAU) Ile-Ife, Osun state has said that internet fraudsters commonly known as Yahoo boys have helped to save Nigeria’s economy from collapse. The advanced the argument during a debate at the school on the topic; Is Yahoo Yahoo an economic lifeline or a life wire. The young man asserted that the standard living of yahoo boys has been able to save Nigeria from recession, given their understanding of the complex economic terrain of the country. According to the scholar, findings revealed that most of the best estates in the South West are being occupied by yahoo boys, and they use the most expensive cars, buy luxury accessories and clothes. He said further that because of the amount of money they spend, Nigeria’s gross per capita income has been able to increase. This is unacceptable. How would you justify evil for any reason at all? No sympathy for fraudulence should be allowed. That is why Nigeria is actually where it is. Corruption! illicit:Nah your leaders impotent economic policies led to that, add insecurity, recession, corruption, devaluation of the naira and you'll get a good picture of what caused it. Stop blaming yahoo boys for the failure of your elected leaders. Plain truth 2 Likes |

illicit:Bro you know most of the clothes we wear here are imported. In 2016 naira was 200 to a dollar now it's over 500 in 2022, if a shirt cost 5 dollars in 2016 then converted to naira that's 1000 naira. How much would that same shirt cost in 2022. USING THE EXCHANGE RATE. PLEASE BE HONEST WITH YOUR ANSWER 1 Like 1 Share |
