I am not sure you would agree with me but the fact is that there was no personal rancour between Jagaban and Ambode.

Jagaban actually wanted Ambode for second term but majority of the Lagos APC stakeholders especially the Governor's Advisory Council (GAC) were opposed to Ambode's ambition. Ambode was 100% loyal to Jagaban when he was the governor.

You may not know. Jagaban's strength is people. He knows how to carry majority along even if it involves sacrificing one of his own.

The system in Edo state is different from the one in Lagos. Ambode couldn’t have fought Tinubu because the state machinery was under Tinubu. It wasn’t same in Edo state and besides Godfatherism doesn’t work in the south south. It works well in the south west and North.
