By Don Silas China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, has said that “time will prove that China’s position is on the right side of history” amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Wang Yi disclosed this on Sunday while speaking with reporters, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “China will continue to make independent judgments based on the merits of the matter and in an objective and fair attitude. “We will never accept any external coercion and pressure, and we also oppose any groundless accusations and suspicions against China,” the statement added. Wang said, “The long-term solution is to abandon the Cold War mentality, refrain from engaging in group confrontation, and truly form a balanced, effective and sustainable regional security architecture. Only in this way can long-term stability on the European continent be achieved.” Recall that the war between Ukraine and Russia began in February. The war enters its twenty-third day today, with massive casualties already recorded. Russian President, Vladimir Putin had ordered the invasion of Ukraine over disagreements on some political issues. Putin had also listed some conditions to end the war.

If you think China will support Russia on this phone then you are a big joker.. Russia has actually placed China in a difficult position...Ukraine and China were on good terms and still in good terms before putin the Warlord invaded.. I kinda support your neutrality on this one so as not to be bias.. |

Russia is not asking anyone to be biased rather to be neutral or consider the security issues raised on merit. In summary, China refused to be goaded around in the West childish wit. 4 Likes |

Sadr: Russia is destabilising eastern Europe because he is paranoid. Invaded Georgia. Why? Annexed crimea? Why? Invaded Ukraine? Why? No reasonable explanation. |

 As in seriously Russia and Ukraine should descalate and both should come to a sustainable compromise in terms of peaceful coexistence The longer this war goes on the more damage is been inflicted both in Russia and Ukraine! War as an option and parties involved in in action are only making it worse |

People are just been emotional, at a time of war especially one which your country is not directly involve, the best position to take is to maintain neutrality india, Pakistan, China who are Russian neighbors understand this , the USA is trying all it could to blackmail them to condemning Russia but its not working, India is still buying Russian fuel, the best way to end this crises and war is dialogue not by threat, sanctions and black mail 4 Likes |

olugabbie:Ooh it's now about what Russia has to benefit or respecting a country's sovereignty..you are quite clueless..  China did not want to see Ukraine in shambles...It is Ukraine's biggest trading partner and had numerous infrastructural projects there all of which are now on hold...And when they are resumed they will be much more expensive and complicated... China has a good relationship with Russia and was strengthening that relationship considerably...Now suddenly Russia is economically and politically in shambles...China did not want to see this either...Now Russia's ability to contribute to the Sino-Russian relationship has shrunk immensely...Russia has gone from being a strong partner to a liability and even something of a burden... So where is your point here?   |
