I don't know if this is the right section for this. I just wanna share my experience. I lost my job a couple of months back so things were a little tight for me. One day I called a 'friend' who had just received his pay and I asked him to please lend me 2k. I promised to pay back in a little time. He said he'd get back to me. Months later, I'm still waiting for him to get back to me. Lol. It hurts because I remember when this same dude wasn't working, I did a lot for him. Even when he started work, I sometimes lend him money until he gets paid. After that incident, a former colleague chatted me up on WhatsApp and asked me to send my account details to him. I informed him that my main account had issues ( it was hacked weeks earlier) . He asked if I had another, I said yes then he asked me to send. Few minutes later I received a message from him. He told me he sent me a little something and I should manage it. I was shocked. I nearly cried that night because I never expected something like that. This is someone I didn't even take as a friend. We were just colleagues. He said he knew how hard life could be when someone is unemployed. The one I saw as a friend and a brother failed me while someone I didn't take even as a friend was thoughtful enough to send me money. How do I explain that? Luckily, just a few weeks later I got another job. I'm thankful to God for the true friends I have and the ones I don't even know I do. God bless. By the way it's my birthday. |

When u realize u don't have a friend you will have peace. People tend to associate with you when u have what to offer them. 5 Likes |

You don't help to get help from the people you help, because few people that you have help will come to your rescue in your worst situation. It is does you never regarded or see as anything that will help you in your down moment. The earlier we understand life the better for us. Again, I see no reason of one keeping friends. Friends are so useless. |

I don't keep friends... I have acquaintances like very many.... Friendship is what I keep when I was younger... Not as an adult.... 1 Like |

Your story is life's summary. Those closest to us are often the most reluctant to help us, while strangers or individuals we never expect give us a helpful hand we never see coming. Cheers bro. Happy birthday. |
