Shot in the Foot on the Dollar, a self inflicted virus- by Prof Khalifa Dikwa

Today I invite economics academicians to challenge world economists to say the truth & refute the postulations of laymen like me.

Here I go.

1. Many are yet to note that dollar currency multilateral dicta is crumbling like a house of cards.

2. if confirmed, Dangoté the Nigerian billionaire has been vindicated for investing all his assets in Africa, far from the US or West.

3. it is insane for the West to punish & freeze the assets of Russians like Abrahamovic who is the owner of Chelsea FC or friends of Russia & Putin in the US & West !

4. Of what reason or relevance should the pro-Russia Oligarchs be punished over their own assets ?

5. It is disingenuous & lack of civility as the action sends a terrible signal that it is no longer safe for non- Westerners to invest in the West & US, which is a big mistake, an economic blunder and indeed a shot in the foot.

6. I just heard about another blow on the Western hegemony that Saudi Aramco oil company was said to have signed a $10 billion deal with China.

7. Qatar has also agreed to a long term strategic partnership with Russia.

8. UAE has officially invited Putin to visit Dubai in May next month 2022.

9. Russia has already connected its banking version of SWIFT (SPFS/ PSFS) to China's CIPS.

10. India too has shown intention to integrate their UIP.

11. Many countries are already itching to integrate BRICS nations soonest.

12. BRICS so far, is made up of Brazil, Russia, India, China & South Africa.


13.:Therefore I submit on behalf of independent minded Nigerians demand that Nigeria joins BRICS now just as South Africa did because we are a sovereign country. Not doing so show fear, inferiority complex & slave mentality of our leadership.

14. Actually, India has reached the final stage of adopting rupee-rubble as currency for trade with Russia, with Yuan of China as reserve currency to compete with the dollar.

15. Belarus& Russia are rumoured to have officially left the dollar system.

16. On Ukraine war, China told USA yesterday Friday 18 March 2022 at a high powered meeting that Russia has not asked China for weapons but they are open to helping Putin if he so asks.

17. Meanwhile, Turkey has continued to trade with Russia.

18. America, NATO, and EU thought naively, that their sanctions had already crushed Russia financially within the 3 weeks of war, but in doing so they failed to realise that virtually all Non-Western countries will lose trust in the Western financial systems, and will thereby seek an alternative currency to the dollar.

19. Western Nation have shot all the bullets, played all the cards with nothing left to fall back on.

20. Forging ahead, it is safe to speculate that the lopsided Globalisation that benefit a tiny racist war mongering GOP Republican minority as owners of Arms factories that plunged US into financial crisis or meltdown of 2008 after that of the world war. Though the US is the country of great opportunity for citizens of the world, particularly Africans, its lopsided dictatorship in the name of globalisation, is very sick and kept in the ICU intensive care unit of the hospital with no hope to survive this time round unless it globalists who control the Wall Streets & Mega Banks come down from their high horse & listen to Africans, Asians & others who helped it develop from scratch.

21. Similarly more countries have woken up to the bitter reality that Western totalitarianism & its bullying antics is ending by its own hands. the US economy is on the verge of its irreversible collapse end hence the offer of whooping 1 billion dollars to help fight for Ukraine by Pres Biden despite US own scarce resources coupled with the highest debt profile in the world to the tune of over 21 trillion dollars at at 2019.

22. The hitherto overly centralised power in the past, eventually, became a tool for a dictatorship hence the grandstanding of the US at EU & the rest of the world. It is nearing a cul de sac that will force the West to respect agreements & treat small & big countries as equal partners that Africa, Latin America , Middle east as well as China & Russia are known for. Time for US to lower its tone while speaking, as its Sec of State Anthony Blinken was seen showing he is an equally created human being born in America with a white skin, but not above other humans, defied Covid protocol to hold out his hand to shake hands with his Russian counterpart recently. He showed huge modesty & respect when he visited Nigeria & felt at home, never waited to be shown where to sit. Despite occasional political gymnastics for political expediency back home, many regard Blinken as the natural successor of Pres Joe Biden in view of his ability to fit into any society based on his longtime grooming by the Democrats leadership.

23.:The West did this to themselves with their insistence on pushing for a unitary neo-liberal ideology on the international system. Time for the US, UK, EU to be sober. The game has changed to a point of no retreat, no surrender.

My own grouse with the west was the seizing of business mens assets. Assets that employed labour in their countries. Assest's that they had been enjoying its privilege. I mean who does that. Look what they did to Abrahamovich of all people. All these while, he wasn't investigated for having ties with the Russian govt, buh all of a sudden they realized that when the war started. I don't know who advised them, buh they should have left individual businesses out of their sanctions.

Your number 18 is the real deal. The elders used to say, when you beat a child with your right hand, you draw him close with the left. Tucker Carlson predicted this coming, he was labelled a Russian asset.

This sanction is not against a third world country that no one will care, what exactly is American influence in Ukraine that's so much US is willing to risk it all? Its an absolute mistep and even rulers keeping their assets in the US are fidgety, no one will ever trust US again. Its an error of highest proportion.
